SourceForge, the world’s largest Open Source development
center, is now offering developers access to Intel Itanium
processor prototype systems.

“Access to Itanium processor prototype servers via SourceForge
represents the first time that Intel has made these systems
available for developer access on such a broad scale. Open Source
developers will be eligible for access to Intel Itanium processor
prototype systems via the Web, subject to accepting terms and
conditions put in place by Intel and VA Linux. More information is
available online at http://sourceforge.net/compilefarm/”

“To support developers in their porting activities, SourceForge
is creating an information and resource center centered on IA-64
development.”
