“This is the latest stable release of Samba. This is the version
that all production Samba servers should be running for all current
bug-fixes. Due to a couple of smbd crash bugs that were found in
Samba 2.0.0 it is recommened all sites using Samba 2.0.0 upgrade to
this release.”
