Contest: Installing an OS, Mandrakelinux 10 Vs Windows XP What
happens when you ask average computer users, new to Linux, to
install Windows XP and Mandrakelinux 10 on the same machine with
the same hardware? “I’d say the match is a draw, or perhaps a close
win for Mandrakelinux”, answers Richard Rasker. Despite some room
left for improvement in explaining options to users, Mandrakelinux
appears as capable – if not more – as XP to making customers’ life
easy on unavoidable chores such as installation, hardware
configuration or networking. Read the review.
