MaximumLinux.org: MindRover for Linux Review

[ Thanks to Mark

“…For those of you who haven’t played the Windows
version of MindRover, you should know right off the bat that this
game isn’t just another game. No my friend, it’s an entirely
different approach to gaming–so much in fact, that both, graduates
and non-graduates as well, will rise with their arms in the air, as
this game is definitely a game that can be played by virtually
anyone who likes to use their brain, instead of their brawn.

Now I know what you’re thinking–“this looks like a brainiac
game to me…ughhh.” But let me assure you–this isn’t some puzzle
game, rather, MindRover gives gamers the ability to be able to
build their own rovers with different chassis, weapons, and cool
logic components. MindRover allows you to custom wire your own rig,
and once you’re done with that, you can compete with other gamers
in places like the Boom Boom Room and the Rocket Arena. You can
even play Sumo Rover, where winning and losing is based on whether
or not you can knock your opponents hovercraft out of the arena’s
borders. No Johnny, this isn’t your usual game. Nor is this some
boring brainiac puzzle game. This is MindRover, a game that forces
you to be the best–unless, of course, you like to lose.”
