Honestly speaking, far fewer women technologists work in the industry than men with men outnumbering women at a rate of about 4 to 1 in terms of computer-related jobs. The same trend follows in the open-source software industry as well with studies suggesting that 1 out of 10 open-source programmers are women (about 10 per cent).
