“internetThe Internet tab now has favorites on it, as
well as recently visited sites. It’s actually quite
interesting to watch the development of this OS over time. For
example, right now there’s a bug in that favorites listing
which causes entries to only go out horizontally, rather than
vertically — meaning if I want to select one of the favorites
that’s not on the main page I have to scroll 4.25 thumbnail
icons at a time.

“Boot time has changed, though it’s still near the same 30
seconds it took before and nowhere near their goal of sub-10
seconds. Right now on my Acer Aspire One D1150-1165, it is 7
seconds from power-on to post-BIOS, then 23 more seconds to boot
Linux. The previous article told of 5 seconds from power-on to
post-BIOS, then 25 seconds to boot Linux. An odd change there, and
one I don’t quite understand.”
