“The first jointly developed solution sees NEC Electronics
introduce a software development kit (SDK) based on Wind River
Linux technology for the company’s EMMA Mobile 1, a system LSI chip
for the market of portable devices to process audio and visual
(A/V) data.

“Additional SDKs for EMMA series products based on Wind River
Linux technology targeting digital multimedia consumer devices are
expected to follow in late 2009 and in 2010.”
