Today we are happy to announce a newly organized, revitalized
GNOME Documentation Project. More information can be found at
http://www.gnome.org/gdp/.

With this new organization, and the addition of more writers,
the GNOME Documentation Project will be able to keep the user and
development documentation more up to date and make sure all of
GNOME has documentation.

The GDP will be providing (and coaxing others to write) on-line
help, programming references, interface guidelines, application
manuals, printed books, tutorials, and more.

One important aspect of this new organization will be the
emphasis on getting others involved with the creation of useful
documentation for GNOME, from applets to widgets to
spreadsheets.

If you wish to contribute to the project please email docs@gnome.org.
