“At the Open Source Convention, I heard a lot of Perl people
bemoaning PHP 5. I’ve never really had anything against PHP. I
don’t care to use it, but that’s just my preference. Some people
really hate it though.

“I figure that they must have something that people like if it
is so popular. I figure it is easy to use and widely available.
Perl was once easy to use, but lately I’ve seen a lot of complaints
about how hard it is to install modules and whatnot…”
