Open beta starts for Sybase SQL Anywhere on Linux

The widely used workgroup SQL database SQL Anywhere (a.k.a.
Sybase AdaptiveServer Anywhere) is being ported to Linux and an
open beta starts today (April 12).

From the Sybase letter to beta testers:

Thank you for completing the sign-up form to apply for
the SQL Anywhere for Linux beta program.

Response to this beta program has been so overwhelming that we
have decided to allow everyone to participate in this beta
program!

Please connect to Sybase’s web site at: http://www.sybase.com/products/anywhere/linuxbeta/

to complete the necessary form, and you will be allowed to
download the software immediately.

Your input is greatly valued, and is most welcome. Please direct
