“Following your numerous requests on the forum and in the
mailing lists we have made available an OCAF sample for Open
CASCADE version 3.0 which will help you to understand and use this
powerful Open CASCADE functionality.”

“The sample will show you how the framework handles
non-geometric attribute management and the undo/redo and
store/retrieve functions. You’ll also be able to modify the
construction parameters of a simple geometric model and see how
OCAF rapidly and automatically updates the model taking into
account these changes.”

“In addition to availability on Windows NT, as of September
28th, the OCAF sample also runs on two Linux platforms: Red Hat
6.2 and Mandrake 7.1.
Remember to download Open CASCADE on the
platform of your choice before testing the OCAF sample. Also,
before running the sample, don’t forget to download and install the
latest OCAF patch.”

“The OCAF interface was built with the open-source FLTK toolkit
and uses the possibilities of the MESA 3D graphic library.”
