The developers working on OpenMandriva are trying to make it easier for Linux users to run the latest games.

OpenMandriva has launched their own “OpenMandriva Games” page where they provide step-by-step walkthroughs for running the latest Linux games like Dota 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Heroes of Newerth, etc. The guides are just illustrated steps for setting up / installing the games via Steam on Linux or PlayOnLinux for the Windows-based games.
