“Corel wants to be a major player in the Linux world. To this
end, it now offers Corel Linux OS Deluxe Edition, a Linux
distribution tailored specifically to users of Microsoft
Windows–and even the Mac. This distribution will appeal to many
Windows 98 users because of its ease of installation and its
Windows-like interface.”

“Corel Linux will find unpartitioned space on your hard disk and
let you install to that space. If your hard disk is a single
partition, Install Express can’t help; you’ll have either to
overwrite Windows or use a separate utility to partition the
disk.”

“This is an exceptionally strong distribution for Linux users
familiar with Windows or for anyone who wants a Linux more oriented
to desktops than to servers. Most users just want their software to
work right out of the box, and Corel Linux OS Deluxe does this
trick very well.”
