“Informix, meanwhile, is giving away its Informix-4GL and
Informix-SQL application development tools for Linux. The giveaway,
announced this month and running through June 30, will enable
developers to port applications to the open-source operating
system.”

“The company is also teaming up with Hewlett-Packard Co. to make
Dynamic Server for Linux available through HP’s Covision program
and is partnering with Jones Business Systems Inc. to distribute a
Linux version of Dynamic Server.”
