PegaSoft was disappointed in the current trends in Linux portals. These
sites tend to be self-serving promotions and to have news pages full of
gossip and speculation. Useful links were scattered across many sites.
PegaSoft set out to design a site that would be truly useful to
developers, with official news, a full selection of links, fast loading
without a lot of extensive advertisement and promotional material.
