First announced April 8, the new PostgreSQL Web site design was
at first heavily criticised and then reworked.

Now there is very little to criticise. The design is clean,
professional and well organized.

I especially like the Developer page,
which features an eye-popping world map with an animated dot
showing the location of each of the key developers.

PostgreSQL is a sophisticated, Open Source, Object-Relational
DBMS, supporting almost all SQL constructs, including subselects,
transactions, and user-defined types and functions.
