“Chartwell Technology…is pleased to announce the release of
the LINUX version of CasinoCasino, its complete suite of JAVA based
Internet games. This deployment on the LINUX platform is in
addition to our current offering on the Windows NT platform.
Adhering to the open systems engineering philosophy has enabled our
complete set of games to operate on configured servers that are
utilizing the LINUX operating system. Using the LINUX operating
system for our JAVA based non-downloadable games sallows Chartwell
to offer a high performance, stable and cost effective
infrastructure to our licensees and to end-users of the
games.

“LINUX has a strong presence among Internet Service Providers
(ISPs), institutions of higher education, and Web developers. LINUX
is the basis for many scalable and performance oriented
applications and is provided as an alternative to Microsoft Windows
NT.”

“Our software Licensees will have a choice of either Windows NT
or LINUX deployment. CyberBanx and CyberBoss, our leading-edge
e-commerce and administration components, will be ready for
deployment on the LINUX platform by the second quarter of
2000.”
