“CyberStar Computer Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CYSR), a PC
manufacturer specializing in e-commerce PC delivery, announced
today that they will support the Linux operating system on its
entire line of desktop PC’s and fileservers.”

“Linux is a free Unix-type operating system originally created
by Linus Torvalds with the assistance of developers around the
world. Developed under the GNU General Public License, the source
code for Linux is freely available to everyone. As a general rule,
Linux is also Year 2000 compliant. Detailed information on Linux
can be found on the web at http://www.linux.org.”

By offering Linux compatible CyberStar branded systems and
servers, CyberStar is providing a way for their customers to use
the fastest growing operating system platform on the market. In the
1st quarter, CyberStar will also offer the latest version of Red
Hat(TM) Linux pre-installed as an option to the standard Microsoft
platforms.
CyberStar’s National Marketing Manager, Brian
Fredrickson stated, “Our customers have begun asking for Linux, so
we will deliver. We have selected Red Hat(TM) Linux from Red Hat,
Inc. (Nasdaq: RHAT) as our pre-installation software choice due to
their dominance in the packaged Linux software market and their
thorough testing with Intel hardware products.”
