“Today, Oracle Corp., the number one choice for e-business,
announced that Oracle(R) Technology Network (OTN) has reached a new
milestone, indicating the extent to which developers are flocking
to Oracle to work with the latest Internet technologies. Membership
in OTN is now half million in developers, fueled by an average
growth of 30,000 members per month, or 1,000 members per day, over
the past year.”

“Developers have a choice; they can build for Windows or
they can build for the Web,” said Jeremy Burton, vice president,
Internet Platform Marketing at Oracle Corp.
“Oracle’s Internet
Platform is built on Java, XML and Linux — the foundation Internet
technologies — and it’s all available to developers for free on
OTN.”

“As members of OTN (http://technet.oracle.com), developers work
with the latest open, Internet technologies in conjunction with
Oracle’s Internet Platform and application development tools.
Oracle JDeveloper(TM) 3.0, which began shipping on November, is
evidence of the overwhelming response to OTN with 25,000 downloads
in less than three weeks.”
