“Xybernaut Corporation …, the leader in wearable
computing, today announced that William H. Tauskey has joined
Xybernaut as executive vice president and general manager,
reporting to Edward G. Newman, president and CEO.
In this
newly-created position, Mr. Tauskey will be responsible for sales,
marketing, business development, product management, and
professional services.”

“Mr. Tauskey joins Xybernaut from ON Channel Inc., an industry
leader in providing embedded Linux operating system software and
applications to OEMs and solution providers, where he was president
and CEO. With over 25 years of industry experience, including over
a decade at IBM, he has played key roles with companies at the
forefront of technological change, such as VisiCorp, Quantum and
Communication Intelligence Corporation. In addition, at Palyn Gould
he was instrumental in developing strategies and marketing plans
for Fortune 100 clients, including IBM and AT&T, which resulted
in multi-fold increases in revenues for key emerging technologies.
Mr. Tauskey received a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Military
Institute and a Master of Science from Texas A&M
University.”

“Edward G. Newman, Xybernaut’s president and CEO commented, “We
are delighted to add Bill to our management team and take advantage
of his extensive experience in rapidly growing technology
companies. Industry attention has been focused on wearable PCs
because of the commitment to Xybernaut’s technology from some of
the world’s largest computer and electronics firms and by the
growing exposure of this mobile computing solution on television
and in industry groups, trade shows and the press. We expect that
this focus will result in the entry of wearable PCs in mainstream
markets during the coming year. Bill will play a vital role in
refining and implementing our strategies to successfully capture
these markets.”
