Proven Software,Inc. today released Proven
dk, Small Business
Edition
. Proven dk is a single-user quick entry
bookkeeping package written specifically for the Linux
desktop. The Small Business Edition is priced at $99 (US).

Despite its low price, Proven dk, Small Business Edition is a
comprehensive accounting system which includes Sales Invoicing,
Accounts Receivable, CheckWriter, Accounts Payable, General Ledger,
and Financial Report Generator. This new product provides the
general bookkeeping and accounting essentials for most small
businesses and organizations.

Proven Software’s sales manager, Mark Matt
commented: “Proven dk is an exciting new product offering
because of the very high level of its capabilities. Its low price
is quite astonishing in that context. Proven dk is in
response to the Linux community’s requests for a feature rich,
highly functional but easy to use accounting package for the Linux
desktop. Proven dk uses the power of Linux such as the
ability to run simultaneous tasks within the accounting programs
from the Desktop. The user also has important and unique choices
such as running dk as either
character-based or gui-based depending upon user preference. This
product in combination with our Proven CHOICE multi-user accounting
package for Linux, allows us to serve a large range of
organizations, from the small home office to the mid-sized
corporations. “
