Raspberry Pi Foundation announces the Gertboard

The Raspberry Pi Foundation has announced the Gertboard, a breakout board for the Raspberry Pi mini-computer. The Gertboard, named after Gert van Loo who designed the original Raspberry Pi prototype, comes with an Arduino microcontroller and extends the Raspberry Pi by adding three buttons, LEDs and a variety of I/O ports.
