General Applet Interface Library 0.5.0pre5

Application

General Applet Interface Library 0.5.0pre5

Description

A library to simplify the writing of Gnome Panel applets

New Features

  • gai_applet_mode() added. Returns the GAI_GNOME1/2 or
    GAI_DOCKAPP Sfor those applets that are interested in that.
  • New configure and Makefile for applet! It reduces the lines of
    codes needed together with gai_init2()
  • You can add your own entries to the right button menu via
    gai_menu_add(…)

Improvements:

  • New nice about box for dockapps. The applets icon is now shown
    on it.
  • Behavior changes. gai_get_size() in dockapp mode returns the
    smallest one of the height and width. (Sherman’s aquarium wants
    that)
  • Examples updated with the new configure script.

  • Tooltip update fix by Magnus Nordfelth.

regexxer 0.5

regexxer

regexxer does GUI search/replace in multiple text files, with
visual feedback at every step. You can even see the results of
complex perl regular expressions before applying the changes.

I have taken over maintainership until Daniel Elstner
resurfaces, but I’m just a caretaker. Bring your patches.
