“IBM has very clearly, loudly and publicly professed its new
found love of the concept of open-source software.

“Unfortunately IBM is maintaining a ‘closed documentation
policy’ for its STB (Set Top Box) series chips.

“It is strange that IBM will not release programmers
documentation for the STB chips to the public.

“Chips without programming documentation? This is just plain
weird…”
