“SystemRescueCd 2.1.0 updates Xfce to version 4.8.0, a major
update to the open source desktop environment for UNIX and Linux
platforms which, among other things, added the ability to browse
remote shares. “Kernel wise, 2.1.0 sees the standard Long Term
Supported (LTS) kernel updated to 2.6.35.12, while the alternative
kernel based on the more recent version has been upgraded from
2.6.36.3 up to 2.6.38.2.”
