“The Corel Linux is available in three versions: a no-charge
download version, a standard version, which will sell for $60, and
a deluxe version, priced at $90, the company said.”

“Corel’s Linux version aims to simplify the process of using the
operating system by putting a graphical interface on the command
line-driven OS.”

“Up until now, Linux has been difficult to use,” said Corel CEO
Michael Cowpland. “Corel is changing that. Corel Linux is as easy
as Windows.”

Corel is also developing Linux versions of its flagship
products, WordPerfect and CorelDRAW.
