“LINUX is a powerful, scalable and reliable operating system
that is well suited for the Indian environment. What makes it
ideally suited for the Indian enterprise?”

“Linux is an operating system developed in 1991 by Linus
Torvalds. He developed it more as a hobby and displayed it on the
internet for people to see the code and improve on it. Since then
several thousand developers have contributed to it.”

“Today Linux is rated highly as it has most of the features that
an ideal operating system is expected to have (Recent statistics by
IDC show that it is the fastest growing operating system and its
growth last year was 166 per cent).”

For India, it is important to leap frog generations of
technology and go straight for the cutting edge one.
