“In the past it was called as GoblinX and later as
GoblinX Standard. In order to dismiss doubt about the releases and
follow the same criteria used for all distributions (editions) of
the GoblinX Project it became simply G:Standard.

“In the past the GoblinX Standard included five windows managers
and also support for five languages, but G:Standard is now the KDE
distribution of our project, and because the limited space it
includes only the default engligh language. In the future the
distribution which will replace G:Standard when we finally start
the new project will not anymore be a livecd, instead it will be a
livedvd. If you need another language you need to download the
respective package in our repository inside kdei folder.”
