on the heels of Metallica’s major legal action against the
developer of the MP3 track finder, the band’s Web site was hacked
over the weekend.”

“A Napster buff sneaked onto the the rockers’ server and
replaced the site’s minimalist www.metallica.com homepage with the
equally minimalist ‘LEAVE NAPSTER ALONE’.”
