Everybody know that you’re the PYTHON GURU and creator,
one of most famous and used programming language nowaday. Why you
created it? What did you need many years ago from programming world
when you created it? What inspired you to write
Python?

“I was working (with a bunch of other folks) on a new
distributed operating system named Amoeba (it’s quite famous,
Google for its paper legacy). We wanted Amoeba to be as useful as
Unix for our daily work, but it was lacking a scripting language.
