headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., threw itself into the growing
real-time Linux fray this week with the release Tuesday of its new
Linux RT 1.0 distribution.”

Ethernet standard for PLC applications, however, he expects the
marketplace to follow the same path as the rest of the embedded
systems marketplace.”

I think this is a great thing,” says Shohat, noting the
