Mr. Poet writes:

The VAR Howto, a howto of the Linux
Documentation Project
has
been released in a Web Based databased format. The VAR howto
is the official listing of Value Added Resellers who utilize the
Linux Operating system. Examples of these VAR’s are 3D Technology, Inc. , Penguin Computing or VAResearch. The new format now
allows VAR’s to automatically make updates to their entry, and the
new format also new VAR’s to immediately submit themselves to the
VAR howto without delay.

For potential Linux users the VAR howto offers an unbeatable
resource to finding a Reseller in their geographic area. The
potential customer has the ability to not only get vital
information such as phone number or email address but also check
the VAR’s specialites. This allows potential customers to find a
VAR that is specific to their needs.

About LinuxPorts:

LinuxPorts was created
to help potential customers of Linux Consultants, VAR’s, and
Developers find the resource they are looking for. LinuxPorts
extends this capability by maintaining the Consultants, VAR and
Commercial howto’s in multiple format including searchable
databases.
