“After more than 6 years of development, the OpenTTD
developers have announced the availability of version 1.0 of their
open source Transport Tycoon Deluxe clone. The urban planning and
simulation game clone includes a number of improvements on the
original, such as multi-player support and bigger maps.

“OpenTTD 1.0 features maps up to 64 times larger than the
originals, multi-player support for up to 255 players and support
for in-game downloads of, for example, new scenarios and AIs.”
