“Mozilla.org puts out great software. Naturally, users like me
want this software. Of course, they want to provide users with an
easy way to try their software. The problem is… the so called
‘Linux installer problem.’ I have a solution for Asa and
Mozilla.org. This might get longwinded and we’re taking a tour
through Linux-ville, so if you’re a pure Mozilla fan, bear with
me.

“As Kyle points out, the problem isn’t with Linux as much as it
is with people’s perception of Linux and their computer. People are
so forged into Windows that even a flawed model, like the current
third party installation “solutions” are being attempted on Linux.
So, we end up with solutions looking for a problem.
