“Netscape Communications released the third and final “preview
release” of its Netscape 6 Web browser, which was developed with
help of more than 100,000 developers.”

“This “preview release” — the term “beta” is out, even though
that’s exactly what it is — has been OK’d, even if some features,
like the personal toolbar, aren’t fully functional yet….”

“With PR3, Netscape added a few new features, most notably the
ability to print Web pages and to sync the email address book to
the Web. You can use Webmail on Netscape.com, or access your
address book remotely, said Eric Krock, group product manager for
tools and components at Netscape in Mountain View,
California….”
