ZDNet UK: Corel unveils easy Linux

“Corel this month demonstrated a new distribution of Linux
that it hopes will make the operating system more attractive to
corporates.”

“Corel pointed to enhancements likely to appeal to corporate
users. For example, Corel Linux will allow administrators to
automate the installation with response files. This feature has
long been a part of Windows, but has been missing from Linux.

“The company has also advanced its Wine run-time emulator for
Win32 binaries.”

“Corel will continue to prepare a distribution for year-end
release. WordPerfect, Quattro Pro and Presentations applications
should be ready for release in the first quarter of 2000.”
