AMD Powers Half of the Top Ten Supercomputers

“AMD processors are used to power 24 of the top 50 fastest
supercomputers ranked in the bi-annual Top500 supercomputer list,
with half of the top 10 using AMD’s CPU and/or GPU technology.
Fifty-nine supercomputers in the TOP500 list are taking advantage
of the compute power offered by AMD Opteron platforms, including 22
systems based on the new 8-core and 12-core AMD Opteron 6000 Series
platform.
