Bitnami Helps to Enable Oracle’s Cloud Aspirations

The cloud isn’t just about infrastructure as a service for its own sake, it’s also about applications and software as a service. At Oracle’s OpenWorld event in late October, the company made multiple announcements across its product portfolio with a particular focus on the cloud.

One of those announcements was the debut of the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, which benefits from technology built by Bitnami. In a video interview with eWEEK, Bitnami chief operating officer and co-founder Erica Brescia discusses her firm’s partnership with Oracle and why applications are the key to the cloud.
