participation in the largest ever private investment funding of a
Linux company. TurboLinux, the high performance Linux company
successfully completed a $57 million second round funding that
included investments by Applix and more than 20 other leading
worldwide IT companies.”

“TurboLinux bundles and resells the Applixware Office product in
Japan and other Asian markets. Applix relies on the proven
expertise and local knowledge of companies like TurboLinux to
insure the widest possible distribution for its software products
across geographies and hardware platforms.”
