“LynuxWorks, Inc. today announced support for Motorola’s
(NYSE:MOT) MBX2000, a high performance EBX board for low power and
small form factor applications. Motorola will be demonstrating the
board, running LynuxWorks’ BlueCat Linux and LynxOS real-time
operating system (RTOS) at LinuxWorld Expo 2000 in the LynuxWorks
booth (No. 322). The demonstrations will highlight the benefits of
the MBX2000, including reduced time-to-market, open hardware
architecture and lower cost of ownership.”
“The MBX2000 features the EBX open architecture embedded
controller, supported by Intel’s Pentium II processor. This deeply
embedded, high performance board provides low power consumption and
heat dissipation for cost-effective systems.“
“While Motorola will be receiving support from other RTOS and
Linux vendors in the near future, the MBX2000 is available today
with BlueCat Linux and LynxOS.”
