CoreOS Aims to Help Secure OpenStack Clouds

Brian “Redbeard” Harrington came to the OpenStack Summit here with a mission to explain how CoreOS and container technology work with OpenStack to enable a high-performance, secure cloud. CoreOS builds a Linux operating system distribution that is optimized for container delivery. On April 6, the company announced that it had raised $12 million in new funding, with total funding now standing at $20 million.
