DevX: Digital Content Creation on Linux

‘Linux’–I heard the word for the first time just five years
back at one of Ray Feeney’s RFX barbeques. RFX is one of the
premiere systems integrators for the film production industry, and
dealt primarily with SGI hardware back then. I was a digital
animator and instructor, into the business a few years earlier
thanks to Ray.

overall systems guru at RFX (now at Rhythm and Hues), this strange
