SAN FRANCISCO — DockerCon 18 kicked off on June 13 with Docker Inc making a series of announcements that further aim to advance container adoption by enterprises.

Docker is now enhancing its flagship Docker EE (Enterprise Edition) with a new federated application management capability that enables enterprises to manage and deploy containers across a multi-cloud infrastructure. Docker is now also set to improve its Docker Desktop application for developers with new template-based workflows for building container applications.
