“To better support its enterprise customers, VA Linux
Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:LNUX) has announced the expansion of its
Internet infrastructure-related professional consulting services
and significant upgrades to its technical support and onsite
services program, including mission-critical service
options.”

“VA Linux Professional Services offers a comprehensive suite of
Internet infrastructure-related services that encompasses all
phases of the systems implementation and support life cycle — from
planning and building to deploying and supporting Internet
infrastructure hardware and software systems. In a related
announcement today, VA Linux also introduced expanded technical
support and onsite service options as part of its “Total Linux
Coverage (TLC)” program, including an agreement with Logicon, a
Northrop Grumman Company, to deliver onsite installation and
warranty service for its server and network-attached storage (NAS)
customers throughout North America.”

“VA Linux is the only company focused on harnessing the power of
Open Source and combining that expertise with proven business
processes to make our customers successful,” said Dr. Larry M.
Augustin, president and CEO of VA Linux Systems. “From SourceForge
OnSite to Internet Infrastructure Services, VA Linux Professional
Services helps our customers leverage the benefits of Open Source
— efficiency, reliability, flexibility and lower costs — by
integrating Open Source technologies into their existing
environments.”
