How to Enable Video Thumbnails in Arch Linux With GNOME

This tutorial was made for the GNOME desktop environment with the Nautilus file manager, but it should work with other desktop environments and/or file managers. It is designed for those of you who want to see a video thumbnail for video files, instead of a generic icon. By default, this feature is not enabled in GNOME or Arch Linux. To get started, you need a healthy Arch Linux installation with the GNOME 3 desktop environment installed (the base packages are enough).
