IBM developerWorks: iSCSI Initiator Project unveiled

From IBM:

“The IBM iSCSI Initiator is an open source project intended for
Linux clients but may be adapted to other operating systems if
desired. The source is being made available to help foster the IETF
iSCSI work group and their draft iSCSI standard. Note that you will
need SCSI support built into the kernel but will not need SCSI
hardware in the Initiator box. See the README file for minimum
hardware and software requirements and other additional
information.” This project is covered by the BSD License.
