As part of the multi-stakeholder <A HREF=”https://www.serverwatch.com/server-news/how-the-kubernetes-release-team-works.html”>release management process</a> for Kubernetes, there is a new release lead for each new major Kubernetes milestone. The Kubernetes 1.12 release marks the first time the release lead position was led by VMware. For the Kubernetes 1.11 release, Red Hat’s Josh Berkus was the release lead.
