Backup, Archive and Restore server version for the Linux
operating system provides even greater flexibility when it comes to
creating a backup environment.

“Quadratec…announced a new platform for its backup and
archiving software Time Navigator. Two years after the introduction
of the backup client for Linux, Quadratec has now released a backup
server version, confirming its pioneer leadership position in the
data management for the open source operating system.”

“Time Navigator for Linux allows the Backup Administrator to
employ Time Navigator as a backup server on the Linux platform.
With the same level of functionality and reliability as the
standard Unix and Windows NT versions, the new Linux flavour runs
from non-expensive x86 to SMP platforms. It offers high
performance, easy and consistent restore and archiving for the
whole enterprise IT environment.”
