Open Switch Network Operating System Joins Linux Foundation

Open Switch is a complete network operating system that has the Open vSwitch virtual switch at its core. The Open Switch effort originally got its start in October 2015 as an Hewlett Packard (HP) led effort and was announced at the Linux Foundation’s Linuxcon EU 2015 event.
