The OpenELEC 8.0.1 maintenance update is here to fix some of the most annoying bugs reported by users since last week’s release of OpenELEC 8.0. These include the broken automount function for external USB storage devices, as well as an issue that made the LED on SolidRun’s Cubox computer to always blink. Furthermore, OpenELEC 8.0.1 repairs the broken filesystem resize functionality on new installs, renames the users samba config file to force the inclusion of your own changes in a new configuration file instead of using the old one, as well as the old Kodis database file during updates, which should fix some updating issues with Kodi.
